Meet the 2025 Miss Ohio Angus: Antoinette Grimes

My name is Antoinette (Annie) Grimes and I am from Winchester, Ohio. I am a 2024 graduate of Eastern High School and just finished my first year at The Ohio State University majoring in Animal Sciences. At OSU I am involved in Ohio Staters Inc., Circle K, and was recently selected to be a member of the Animal Sciences Community Alliance.

My favorite memories have been in numerous youth agricultural organizations. I have been involved in 4H for 11 years and am planning to serve as an advisor next year. I was an FFA member all through high school where I was president for 2 years and  competed in 7 different CDE contests. I’m hoping to receive my American degree in the fall. I am also a 5 year member of my counties Junior Fairboard.

I’ve been showing cattle since I was 8 years old at the local, state, and national level. Showing Angus heifers had always been the priority for my family and I, however, I have shown numerous feeder calves and market steers  at the county level.

The Ohio Angus Association is filled with so many kind and encouraging people who help each other achieve their goals. Through guidance in the association I was able to revive my bronze and silver awards last summer.

Currently, I am serving as the 2025 Miss Ohio Angus. Since starting in January I’ve enjoyed helping at EXPO and Preview. I’m looking forward to continuing the year with many more laughs and life long memories.
